Surgery Overview:
YHG is a purpose built, modern practice located in Griffith NSW, a multi-cultural oasis and regional centre in the highly productive region of the Riverina. YHG is the largest General Practice in the region and commenced in 2007.
YHG is an established training practice accommodating GP Registrars from RACGP & ACRRM.

Surgery Layout:
The current practice was purpose built in 2011. It has 12 spacious consultation rooms, treatment room, minor procedures room, dedicated Nurse rooms, Allied Health, Pathology and staff room. All rooms have independent air conditioning and the practice has generous car parking and access for patients.
Surgery Facilities:
YHG is a respected well established local General Practice and offers whole patient care to its patients. It is the largest General Practice in the community.
Surgery consultation hours are Monday – Friday 8.00am – 6.00pm and Saturday 8.30 – 12.30pm. The surgery currently has 9 GPs and requires a fulltime GP to meet the high patient demand.
Treatment Room:
A dedicated treatment room is set up to handle minor procedures. It is equipped with ECG, defibrillator, spirometry and nebuliser.
Administration:
The surgery has been accredited by AGPAL since 2007. The practice is paperless and uses Medical Director and Pracsoft. The Practice has a dedicated Practice Manager, Office Manager and an experienced reception team.
Nursing:
There are 3 Registered Nurses with YHG.
Specialist Services:
The following specialist services visit YHG: Orthopaedic Surgeon.
Diagnostic Services:
Laverty Pathology is onsite each weekday taking blood from 8.00am – 3.00pm
Patient Demographics:
Griffith Shire has a population of 27,000 people and services a population over 50,000 from surrounding communities. There is a wonderful multicultural mix of all age groups.
Billing Arrangements:
YHG is a private billing practice. Private Fees are:
Standard Consultation - $85.00, Extended Consultation - $126.00
