The team at Your Health Griffith understand that the COVID-19 Pandemic is an extremely stressful time for our community and our patients. We've been working incredibly hard behind the scenes to serve you despite current events and appreciate your patience and continued support.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION regarding your appointment:

  • It is mandatory and a condition of entry that all patients and visitors wear a face mask into the practice. We unfortunately cannot provide you with a mask, you must bring your own.

  • Routine screening questions will be asked when you book or attend an appointment such as symptoms and contact with COVID-19 cases. Please be honest when reception ask you these questions relating to COVID-19, we are here to help not mistreat or discriminate you in any way. We just want to triage the best way possible.

  • Any patients with new respiratory symptoms or who have had a COVID diagnosis or been a close contact in the last 2 weeks will not be able to have a face-to-face consultation with a GP.  Please call our admin team to discuss the safest way for you to receive the treatment you need.

  • Due to limited space and to adhere to social distancing guidelines, we are restricting visitors allowed within the practice to protect our patients and staff. We can only accommodate the patient in the waiting room and consult room for the consultation. Unfortunately you cannot bring, for example, your spouse or additional children to the appointment. If you have no other option but to bring additional children to the appointment, please do not worry, just call ahead and advise staff - depending on space in the waiting room you may be asked to wait in you car until your appointment time. If the appointment is for a child, one parent is of course permitted to attend with them. If the appointment is for an elderly, disabled or immobile patient, one carer/relative may attend only if essential.

  • We are also encouraging GP Telehealth consultations (phone or video) as an alternative to attending the practice to minimise the impact of Coronavirus on our community. Conditions apply.

  • Please remember to perform hand hygiene by sanitising your hands on arrival. All patients must check-in at reception on arrival. QR Code check-in is now no longer mandatory, however, QR codes are still available if you wish to check-in.

FEE INCREASE as of 01/07/2022

At Your Health Griffith the quality care that you receive is a product of the dedication and expertise of our staff and a modern, well-equipped facility.  Unfortunately, the reality today is that Medicare bulk-billing rebates no longer cover the cost of providing high quality care. For this reason, we are a Private Billing practice although there are many services offered by our GPs and nurses which are bulk-billed.

Your Health Griffith will be implementing a fee increase for consultations, effective 1st July, 2022. Patients under the age of 12 and those holding a DVA Gold Card or a Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card will be bulk-billed for standard consultations. We also continue to bulk bill patients of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island background on the basis that they attend for their regular health assessments. Health care card holders may receive a discounted fee on a discretionary basis.

All other patients are required to pay a consultation fee. Payment is expected at the time of the consultation.  If there are any difficulties regarding this, please let reception know, so alternate arrangements can be made. EFTPOS, Credit Card (MasterCard and Visa), cash and cheques are all accepted. Direct bank transfer can also be arranged on request. More information can be found on our FEES page.

Thank you again for your continued support and for bearing with us while we work through the challenges day by day.
