IMPORTANT  UPDATES

IMPORTANT INFORMATION regarding your appointment:

  • With the current levels of COVID-19 in the community reducing, patients with NO RESPIRATORY SYMPTOMS and NO CLOSE CONTACT HISTORY are no longer required to wear a face mask within the practice. Patients with any respiratory symptoms or close contact history will continue to be required to wear a face mask when in the practice and must also remain in their vehicle prior to being triaged by the GP. Phone consultations will also be offered.
     

  • Routine screening questions will be asked when you book or attend an appointment such as symptoms and contact with COVID-19 cases. Please be honest when reception ask you these questions relating to COVID-19, we are here to help not mistreat or discriminate you in any way. We just want to triage the best way possible. 
     

  • Due to limited space and to adhere to social distancing guidelines, we can only accommodate the patient in the waiting room and consult room for the consultation. Unfortunately you cannot bring, for example, your spouse or additional children to the appointment. If you have no other option but to bring additional children to the appointment, please do not worry, just call ahead and advise staff - depending on space in the waiting room you may be asked to wait in you car until your appointment time. If the appointment is for a child, one parent is of course permitted to attend with them. If the appointment is for an elderly, disabled or immobile patient, one carer/relative may attend only if essential

    FEE INCREASE as of 01/07/2023

    We would like to inform you of a fee increase for all private consultations and services that will come into effect 1st July, 2023. There is no change to the billing of children under age of 5 years, DVA Gold Cards and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We will also continue to bulk bill ALL patients for Chronic Disease Management plans, Health Assessments, Home Medication reviews, COVID vaccinations and recurring appointments for INR testing.
